1. What is Laivio?
Laivio is a custom phone case website where you can turn your favorite image, artwork, or AI-generated design into a personalized phone case. You can upload your own image or create a new design with our AI-powered Art Studio, then apply it to a compatible phone case.
2. How does Laivio custom phone case ordering work?
It's simple:
1. Choose your phone model and case type.
2. Upload your own image or create artwork with our AI tools.
3. Adjust the design preview until it looks right.
4. Add the customized case to your cart and complete checkout.
5. We print your design and ship the finished case to you.
Please review your design carefully before placing the order, as each custom case is made specifically for you.
3. Can I upload my own picture?
Yes. You can upload your own photo, artwork, pattern, illustration, pet picture, family photo, logo, or other image as long as you have the right to use it. For the best result, we recommend uploading a clear, high-resolution image.
4. Can I use AI to create a design?
Yes. You can use our Art Studio to generate a new image from your text prompt, then apply the design to a phone case. You may also upload a reference image to help guide the AI-generated result.
5. Do I need an account to place an order?
You can browse and create designs without an account, but we recommend creating one so you can check your order information, save details more easily, and contact support faster if you need help.
6. What image quality should I upload?
For best print quality, please upload a high-resolution image with clear details. Avoid blurry, dark, pixelated, or heavily compressed images. If your image looks blurry on screen, it may also appear blurry when printed.
Recommended image tips:
● Use a clear photo or artwork.
● Avoid screenshots from social media when possible.
● Make sure important faces, text, or details are not too close to the edge.
● Check the preview carefully before checkout.
7. Will the printed case look exactly like the preview?
The preview is designed to help you visualize the final product, but slight differences may occur due to screen brightness, color settings, image resolution, printing process, and case material. We do our best to produce your design as closely as possible.
8. Can I adjust the position of my image?
Yes. Before adding the case to your cart, you can adjust the image placement in the design preview. Please make sure the main subject is centered properly and not covered by the camera cutout or case edges.
9. Can I print text on my phone case?
Yes, if the design tool supports text or if the text is already included in your uploaded image. Please make sure the text is clear, correctly spelled, and placed away from edges, camera holes, and curved corners.
10. What kind of images are not allowed?
We may reject or cancel custom designs that include:
● Copyrighted images, logos, characters, or brand elements you do not have permission to use.
● Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory content.
● Explicit sexual content or graphic violence.
● Illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
● Designs that violate the rights of another person or organization.
If a design cannot be produced, we will contact you by email.
11. Can I use celebrity photos, anime characters, sports team logos, or brand logos?
Only if you own the rights or have permission to use them. Many celebrity images, anime characters, sports logos, movie characters, and brand logos are protected by intellectual property rights. By uploading a design, you confirm that you have the legal right to use the content.
12. Who owns the image I upload?
You keep ownership of the content you upload. By submitting an image to Laivio, you give us permission to use that image only for the purpose of creating, producing, and fulfilling your custom order.
13. Who owns the AI-generated image?
The artwork you create in our Art Studio is yours to use for your custom order — Laivio does not claim ownership of designs you generate. That said, purely AI-generated artwork often has limited or unclear copyright protection under current laws, and rules vary by country, so we can't guarantee you hold exclusive legal rights to it. You are responsible for ensuring your design does not violate any third-party rights, and Laivio may refuse to print designs that appear to infringe intellectual property or violate our content guidelines.
14. What phone models do you support?
Laivio currently offers custom phone case options for Apple and Samsung devices. Please select your exact phone model before ordering to ensure the case fits properly. Your phone model must match the case model you choose.
15. How do I know which iPhone or Samsung model I have?
You can check your phone model in your device settings.
For iPhone: Go to Settings > General > About > Model Name.
For Samsung: Go to Settings > About phone > Model name.
Please confirm your exact model before placing your order. Cases for different models may look similar but may not fit correctly.
16. What if I order the wrong phone model?
Because custom phone cases are made to order, we may not be able to cancel, change, or refund an order once production has started. Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice a mistake after ordering.
17. Are Laivio cases protective?
Our cases are designed for everyday use and help protect your phone from daily scratches, light bumps, and normal handling. Protection level may vary depending on the case type. Please check the product page for specific case details.
18. Do your cases support wireless charging or MagSafe?
Compatibility depends on the selected case type and phone model. Please check the product page before ordering. If MagSafe or wireless charging is important to you, choose a compatible case option when available.
19. How do I place an order?
Choose a product, customize your design, add it to your cart, and complete checkout. Once the order is submitted, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please check your email address carefully before placing your order.
20. Can I use a discount code?
Yes, if a valid promotion or discount code is available. Discount codes must be entered at checkout before payment is completed. Discounts usually cannot be applied retroactively after an order is placed.
21. Why is my discount code not working?
A discount code may not work if:
● It has expired.
● It has already been used.
● It does not apply to the product in your cart.
● It cannot be combined with another promotion.
● The minimum order amount has not been reached.

22. What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods will be shown at checkout. Please follow the checkout instructions to complete your payment securely.
23. Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. After your order is successfully placed, you should receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please check your spam or promotions folder. If you still cannot find it, contact us with the email address used for the order.
24. How long does it take to make my custom case?
Each Laivio custom case is made to order. Production usually takes 1-3 business days before shipping. During peak seasons or promotional periods, production may take longer.
25. How long does shipping take?
Estimated delivery time depends on your location and shipping method. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking email if tracking is available.
26. Do you offer free shipping?
Orders over $49 qualify for free shipping.
27. How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, we will send tracking information to the email address used at checkout. If you have not received tracking after the estimated production time, please contact us with your order number.
28. My tracking says delivered, but I did not receive my package. What should I do?
Please check your mailbox, front desk, parcel locker, neighbors, or building reception first. If you still cannot locate the package, contact the shipping carrier and then reach out to us with your order number and tracking number so we can help investigate.
29. Do you ship internationally?
Shipping availability depends on your destination. If your country or region is available at checkout, we can ship there. Shipping times, taxes, duties, and customs fees may vary by destination.
30. Will I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?
For international orders, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be charged by your local customs office. These fees are not controlled by Laivio and may be the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.
31. Can I cancel or change my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. If production has not started, we will do our best to help cancel or update the order. Once a custom order enters production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.
32. Can I change the image after placing an order?
If your order has not entered production, we may be able to help update the design. Please contact us immediately with your order number and the correct image. Once production begins, the design cannot usually be changed.
33. Can I return a custom phone case?
Because custom phone cases are made specifically for each customer, we generally cannot accept returns for reasons such as choosing the wrong model, uploading the wrong image, changing your mind, or not liking the image you submitted. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or different from your approved design, please contact us within five business days after delivery.
34. What should I do if my case arrives damaged or defective?
Please contact us within five days of delivery and include:
● Your order number.
● A clear photo of the damaged or defective item.
● A photo of the packaging if it was damaged.
● A short description of the issue.
We will review your case and offer a replacement, refund, or other solution when appropriate.
35. What if the print is blurry?
If the uploaded image was low-resolution, blurry, or pixelated, the printed result may also appear blurry. Please upload high-quality images and review the preview before checkout. If you believe the issue was caused by production, contact us with clear photos so we can review it.
36. What if the color looks different from my screen?
Slight color differences are normal because every screen displays color differently, and printed colors may vary from digital previews. If the color difference is severe or appears to be a production error, please contact us with photos taken in natural lighting.
37. What if I chose the wrong phone model?
Please contact us immediately. If the order has not entered production, we may be able to update it. If production has already started or the case has shipped, we may not be able to replace or refund it because the product was made for the model selected at checkout.
38. Can Laivio refuse to print my design?
Yes. We may refuse, cancel, or request changes to designs that violate our content guidelines, intellectual property rules, or applicable laws. If this happens, we will contact you by email.
39. Is my uploaded image private?
We use uploaded images to create and fulfill your custom order and to provide our service. Please avoid uploading sensitive personal documents or private information. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
